The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
